Kraken's parent company Payward reaches in-depth cooperation with Ledger
2026-09-24 22:29:14
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Fortune, the parent company of the crypto exchange Kraken, Payward, has announced a deep collaboration with hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger. This collaboration allows investors to purchase tokenized stocks and store them offline in secure physical hardware devices, marking the first implementation of "cold storage" for traditional stock assets. The integration is two-way: users of the stock trading platform xstocks under Payward can request physical signature authorization through Ledger devices before the final confirmation of a transaction. At the same time, Ledger hardware devices will be natively integrated with the xstocks platform, enabling hardware users to trade and directly manage their tokenized stocks within the device ecosystem.
