According to CoinMeta, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated during a live broadcast on September 24th that the collapse of FTX left a painful lesson for the entire crypto industry. She does not believe that large exchanges today would misappropriate or divert user funds. Gracy Chen mentioned that Bitget currently discloses a protection fund of over $460 million, in addition to which there are more than $1 billion in platform-owned assets that correspond one-to-one with user assets and can be verified through reserve proofs and other information. She stated that the loss of about $300 million this time is still within the controllable range of Bitget. The suspension of withdrawals is not due to funding issues but rather to prevent attackers from transferring funds again before security issues are resolved. She emphasized, "This is definitely not another FTX."
