According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has updated its regulations regarding crypto assets, clarifying that registered derivatives dealers can treat tokenized funds from money market funds and other compliant customer funds as traditional forms of asset holdings. It also recognizes that relevant entities can use blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies to maintain records in order to comply with federal record-keeping requirements.
