According to CoinMeta and OneMillion.AI, a Financial Times investigation found that open-weight models are spreading from technology companies to traditional American enterprises. In August and September of this year, the number of times American companies mentioned open-weight or open-source models during financial report conference calls and investor meetings increased by about six times compared to the same period last year. Logistics companies, as well as Siemens, have recently discussed related applications publicly. The annual expenditure of one company increased from about one million US dollars in January to about ten million US dollars in July, and they have now begun to entrust some routine requests to open-weight models. Another company has an even larger scale; currently, about 40% of their tasks are being handled by open-weight models, and the company plans to further increase this to about 70%.
