According to CoinMeta, Bitget announced that this was the first security incident in its 8 years of operation, and has disclosed the attacker's address as well as relevant tracking data. Based on monitoring by Bitget, Mandiant and SlowMist are continuing to support the investigation of this incident and the on-chain tracking efforts. Bitget is expected to complete an internal security report this week and will release further updates after the investigation results are verified. The incident occurred on September 24th.
