ZachXBT: Suspected North Korean attackers are laundering money from the $387 million theft incident involving Bitget
2026-09-28 19:48:01
According to CoinMeta, a blockchain detective named ZachXBT claims that individuals suspected of being North Korean attackers and involved in the illegal act of laundering $387 million stolen from Bitget are openly seeking order placement support on the servers of Discord and through the Telegram channels they use. He pointed out that one of these members, codenamed Alias4, had previously been involved in laundering $292 million stolen from Kelp DAO earlier this year, and the same pattern was observed after several attacks attributed to TraderTraitor. Currently, the funds are being transferred through cross-chain bridges and deposited into coin mixing services such as Wasabi. ZachXBT stated that they plan to share more data in the coming weeks.
