According to CoinMeta, data from bonbast shows that the Iranian rial fell to a record low of 2.4 million per US dollar on Monday. Since US President Donald Trump stated last Saturday that he would reject Iran's latest proposals, the rial has depreciated by 2.3%. Both Tehran and Washington have indicated that they will not make concessions regarding the conditions for ending the conflict and re-opening the Strait of Hormuz.
