According to CoinMeta, Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko stated at a seminar held by the European Policy Centre in Brussels on Monday that Ukraine's uncovered budget needs for 2027 amount to 32.6 billion US dollars. Marchenko pointed out that Ukraine's budget funds for 2026 are already secured, but next year it will face a funding gap due to the war lasting longer than expected, and Ukraine is unable to export all of its grain; currently, only 40% of it can be exported.
