CoinMeta data: Recently, Ethereum recorded its highest average transaction amount in history, and on September 25th, the volume of transactions on the chain exceeding $100,000 also reached a new high. According to analysis, some of the largest transactions included: • $94.08 million was transferred between wallets with no clear public ownership • $92.06 million was transferred from Bitfinex hot wallet to Bitfinex 2 • $80.64 million was transferred from Binance 28 to Binance 14 • $65.18 million was transferred from Binance 14 to Binance 18; this activity is clearly related to internal exchanges. In addition, on September 25th, there were 71 large Ethereum transactions, totaling approximately $1.9 billion in what are known as “whale transactions,” using different filtering criteria (transactions over $10 million and excluding certain exchange addresses), indicating that this surge was not driven by a single transaction. On that day, large holders and large-value transactions were exceptionally active on the Ethereum network.
