The Pope called on leaders around the world to cooperate in addressing artificial intelligence security issues and reiterated the significant threats that artificial intelligence poses to humanity. According to data from Stanford University, over 50% of respondents expressed concerns about artificial intelligence security, and 52% felt anxious about artificial intelligence technology. Nevertheless, global optimism regarding artificial intelligence is also on the rise, with the proportion of people who believe that the benefits of AI outweigh its drawbacks increasing from 55% in 2024 to 59% in 2025.
