Analyst: Shareholders of Smarter Web Company Approve Bitcoin-backed Preferred Stocks in the UK

According to CoinMeta, Smarter Web has obtained shareholder approval, removing the key conditions for listing its proposed bitcoin-backed perpetual preferred stocks on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Based on the results of the company's general meeting of shareholders on September 28th, shareholders approved three resolutions, which covered amendments to the company's articles of association, authorization to distribute preferred stocks, and permission for the company to purchase securities in the market. The voting results showed that the first resolution received 163.8 million votes in favor, representing 99.86% of the votes cast. The second resolution, which authorized directors to distribute preferred stocks, received 99.84% support. The third resolution, which allowed the company to repurchase preferred stocks in the market, also gained 99.86% support. The company plans to seek a total revenue of 15 to 25 million pounds by offering securities to British institutional investors and eligible retail investors.
