Bull Theory: Global liquidity expansion may drive Bitcoin to attract more capital
2026-09-29 19:03:32
CoinMeta data: According to Benzinga, market research platform Bull Theory indicates that as global liquidity continues to expand, the total money supply of the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of Japan, and the People's Bank of China has reached a record $103.66 trillion. These four central banks have increased the money supply by approximately $5.6 trillion in 2026. An increase in money supply usually means more liquidity is available in the financial system, and Bull Theory believes that this expanded money supply may drive more capital into assets such as Bitcoin. Bitcoin advocates Anthony Pompliano and Arthur Hayes consider money expansion to be an important driver of Bitcoin's long-term value. Although the positive correlation between Bitcoin and global liquidity weakened during the bear market of 2025-2026, Bitcoin recently climbed to around $87,000, reaching its highest level in nearly eight months. Matthew Sigel, the head of digital asset research at VanEck, pointed out that Bitcoin typically lags in responding to increases in liquidity, and the impact of the expanded global liquidity may still be gradually permeating into the crypto market.
