2026-09-29 20:11:54
According to CoinMeta, Luis de Escriba, a member of the European Central Bank's Governing Council and Governor of the Bank of Spain, stated on Tuesday that the continuous rise in global bond yields and high energy prices are issues that European Central Bank policymakers are currently focusing on. He pointed out that current interest rate levels are not yet high enough to curb economic growth, but the increase in bond yields could push interest rates higher further, while persistently high energy prices could trigger a dangerous secondary effect of inflation.
