Goldman Sachs Introduces $100 Billion in FTIXX Funds into the Avalanche Network
2026-09-29 21:44:31
According to CoinMeta, Goldman Sachs announced that it will introduce its approximately $100 billion in FTIXX treasury funds into an institution-based network based on Avalanche. FTIXX will be provided through Lynq, which is a privately licensed Avalanche L1 that has been used by more than 30 digital asset companies, including Wintermute, Galaxy, FalconX, Crypto.com, and Fireblocks. This becomes the first external fund on Lynq, providing institutions with a way to hold cash between transactions, earn yields, and redeploy it when needed. Unlike Blackstone's BUIDL or Franklin Templeton's BENJI, FTIXX is not tokenized; instead, it serves as a new distribution channel for Goldman Sachs' existing traditional treasury funds through Lynq based on Avalanche.
