According to CoinMeta, the parent company of the German cryptocurrency trading platform bitcoin de, Bitcoin Group SE, stated that bitcoin de, which is operated by its wholly-owned subsidiaries futurum bank AG, has been temporarily unable to conduct cryptocurrency transactions since the end of June due to the authorization process for MiCAR taking longer than expected. The company mentioned that the new version of the bitcoin de website and trading platform App has completed development and functional/safety testing, and is planned to support over 100 types of cryptocurrency assets, scheduled investments, Crypto Swap, and dynamic staking, among other features. However, the resumption of trading still depends on the completion time of the MiCAR authorization, and a specific date cannot be determined at this time. In the first half of 2026, the company's revenue was 1.59 million euros (about 1.8 million US dollars), while EBITDA was -3.25 million euros (about -3.69 million US dollars).
