According to CoinMeta, as reported by Bitcoin Magazine, the head of research at Bitwise stated that most of the institutions interviewed in their study purchased Bitcoin during the bear market. These institutions included pension funds, donor funds, foundations, and sovereign wealth funds, and none of them chose to sell; in fact, many of these institutions further increased their holdings of Bitcoin.
