Falcon Executive: Tokenization of RWA should be asset-by-asset evaluated
2026-09-30 03:31:18
According to CoinMeta, the chief Artem Tolkachev official of Falcon Finance stated that the low on-chain activity in the tokenized assets market should not be regarded as a sign of weak demand, with a total market value of $38.86 billion. He believes that funds used for income generation should be evaluated differently from those used for lending products. Tolkachev pointed out that the on-chain issuance volume and whether holders can use the assets in financial applications are different aspects of the market. He emphasized that the intended use of the assets should determine how they are evaluated. A research report by Castle Labs indicates that tokenization platforms need to provide holders with practical ways to trade, borrow, and transfer assets. The study found that there is over $15.9 billion in tokenized U.S. Treasurys, $4.9 billion in commodities, $3.6 billion in active strategies, $2.56 billion in asset-backed credit, and $2.52 billion in stocks. Tolkachev also mentioned that assets face additional requirements when moving between different platforms, and funds held for income generation and tokens used as collateral require different types of testing to determine their success.
