Aztec Labs Reintroduces a Private Payment Wallet with a Transfer Limit of $2,500
2026-09-30 07:40:55
CoinMeta Data: Aztec Labs reintroduced zk.money on Tuesday, restoring its self-hosted wallet to support private stablecoin payments on the Aztec network. Each deposit, payment, and withdrawal must be below $2,500, and the wallet was launched before Aztec fixed a critical vulnerability in its network proof-of-stake system. Aztec Labs's CEO, Joe Andrews, stated, "On-chain transactions should not mean making your financial history public." This wallet only supports DAI; USDC and USDT will be exchanged upon arrival. Each user can enjoy 100 sponsored transactions per day, with a deposit fee of 35 cents and a withdrawal fee of 20 cents. Aztec plans to launch a v6 version in 2026 to fix previously discovered vulnerabilities.
