According to CoinMeta, former Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru recently criticized current Prime Minister Toshihiro Kōji in a television program, accusing her of being dishonest about historical issues and expressing concerns about her political agenda. In the program, Ishiba stated that it was Japan that initiated the war, resulting in the deaths of tens of millions of people. He criticized the Kōji administration and Japan's right-wing for their dishonesty regarding historical matters, arguing that such a country cannot establish stable diplomatic relations. Ishiba also pointed out that although Kōji claims to want Japan to be "strong and prosperous," Japan's gross domestic product may fall to sixth place in the world next year, and what is known as "Kōji Economics" has not made Japan wealthier. Ishiba stated that Kōji's politics "will not bring happiness to the people."
