According to CoinMeta, Google Cloud announced on October 21 the launch of a service (identified by Gemini, Gemini, for, government, services) aimed at U.S. government agencies. This product was jointly developed by Google Cloud in collaboration with the Missouri State Government, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and other federal and state government agencies. The service consists of five components: a module for teaching algorithms (agents) legal regulations and operational procedures, connectors for integrating with existing systems, agents developed by partners, a governance and control platform, and a partner ecosystem. It supports integration with Oracle ERP and Microsoft Microsoft 365 systems, allowing government agencies to use relevant information without having to migrate their data. Google stated that this service meets the highest level of certification for cloud services procurement by U.S. government agencies (FedRAMP), ensuring that data remains within the private cloud environment in the United States and that it will not be used for training Google's foundational models without permission.
