According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Reuters and Axios, the Kremlin stated that Russian President Putin told U.S. special envoy Vitkov on Wednesday that he "in principle agrees" to resume trilateral peace talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States around November 10th in order to end the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, with the talks possibly taking place in Abu Dhabi. Vitkov held a three-hour meeting with Putin in St. Petersburg on that day, presenting him with the latest proposals for ending the conflict. Trump's special envoy Kushner participated in the meeting via video. Vitkov informed Putin that progress had been made in the Oslo talks and expressed hope that both sides would consider resuming the trilateral negotiations involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, as well as allowing technical experts to participate in discussions on specific issues. He also submitted several documents regarding a peaceful resolution to the Russo-Ukrainian conflict to Putin. In addition, Putin mentioned to Vitkov the possibility of Russia playing a mediating role between the United States and Iran. Putin noted that Russia has established a decades-long special relationship of mutual trust with Iran and is willing to provide assistance in resolving the current crisis.
