According to CoinMeta, as reported by BBC, AI has discovered two serious security vulnerabilities in the PHP programming language, which is fundamental to the internet. As a result, multiple governments have been forced to take down related websites. Security company Wiz described these vulnerabilities as "the most serious security threats" ever found in this technology to date.
