Corgi Became Popular in Silicon Valley with Beauty Marketing, but Its Second Cafe Was Closed Two Weeks After Opening

According to CoinMeta, Corgi Insurance Company became popular in Silicon Valley due to its attractive marketing strategies involving beautiful models and plans to open 100 cafes within six months to provide office and social spaces. However, the expansion process encountered difficulties; 16 lease agreements that were nearly finalized were put on hold, the head of expansion and some team members were laid off, and the three already signed stores failed to open. Corgi's second store in San Francisco was ordered to close just 13 days after opening in September due to a lack of valid health permits, and the building renovation procedures were not completed. Local residents filed appeals, accusing it of being "offices disguised as cafes." An interview by the San Francisco Standard reported that none of the customers involved in the opening event had a need to purchase insurance, exposing the limitations of their marketing approach.
