According to CoinMeta, Jiang Chenghua, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that this year China is facing many unfavorable factors in attracting foreign investment, with some even pessimistically assessing the prospects for China's economic development and investment environment. He believes that the international community and foreign-funded enterprises have the most say in determining the quality of China's investment environment. The 26th Investment Promotion Conference held last month attracted more than 1,200 government agencies and business delegations from 129 countries and regions, as well as 30 international organizations. The number of participating countries and delegations set new records, reflecting the long-term trend of global investors' continued optimism about the Chinese market and their eagerness to seize opportunities in China. Jiang Chenghua pointed out that there is currently an increased willingness among foreign investors to reinvest. In the first nine months of the year, reinvestment by foreign firms reached 93.99 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%. In fields such as artificial intelligence, biomedicine, aerospace, and green chemicals, foreign reinvestment projects continue to be implemented. Looking at the latest structure of foreign investment, industries related to new productive forces have become new areas of focus for foreign investors.
