According to CoinMeta, Cysic has proposed a settlement to the attacker who unauthorizedly issued 10 million CYS. The proposal requires the attacker to return 275.872 ETH within 72 hours, which corresponds to 90% of the confirmed ETH earnings. The attacker may retain the remaining approximately 30.652 ETH as a bounty for discovering the vulnerability. Cysic has restored the critical aspects of the attack and preserved the relevant technical evidence and on-chain records. If the attacker fails to return the funds within the specified period, Cysic will seek intervention from law enforcement authorities and push for a comprehensive criminal investigation.
