Bloomberg: The AI craze is relying on recycled funds; investors reminisce about 2008

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Bloomberg, the current AI craze is increasingly relying on recycled funds, which reminds some investors of 2008. Chip manufacturers and cloud computing giants invest in or lend to AI companies, which then use these funds to purchase chips and computing power from the same companies. Recent examples include: Broadcom (Broadcom, $AVGO) agreed to lend up to $42 billion to Anthropic for the purchase of chips and computing hardware; NVIDIA (Nvidia, $NVDA) has invested over $40 billion in AI companies this year, including a $30 billion investment in OpenAI.
