According to CoinMeta, Tether has added 9 addresses related to the CoinDCX security incident to a blacklist, freezing 2.2129 million USDT. The investigation began when investigator Darcy discovered an abnormal transfer of approximately 15.99 million USDT. CoinDCX, one of the co-founders of Sumit Gupta, initially claimed that no security vulnerabilities had occurred. Subsequently, Salus raised doubts based on the transfer activities of the reserve fund proof-of-stake addresses and the TRX distribution model, prompting relevant parties to provide verifiable on-chain evidence to assist Tether in taking action.
