DBS Bank: 10-year U.S. Treasury yield expected to fall back to 4.8%
2026-10-26 10:54:07
According to CoinMeta, Eugene Leow, a senior interest rate strategist at DBS Bank in Singapore, stated that the demand for safe-haven assets is on the rise, and the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds is expected to fall back to 4.8%. Cautionary sentiment will still be a key consideration for investors. Doubts about AI, the risk of economic slowdown, and political uncertainties in Europe and the United States (such as the European situation and the U.S. mid-term elections) mean that the demand for safe havens will continue for some time. At the current level of absolute yields, U.S. Treasury bonds are suitable as a safe-haven hedging tool. From a trading perspective, 4.8% is a logically sound technical target in the short term.
