According to CoinMeta, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called on all parties to strengthen dialogue and cooperation to discuss the impact of military tensions on the global energy market. He pointed out that the disruption of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has affected the security of natural gas supply and the stability of the global energy market. Zarif emphasized that Iran and Russia hold a strategic position in the global natural gas market, and it is necessary for both sides to enhance cooperation in the energy sector, including expanding investment, technology transfer, oil and gas field development, and improving energy export capabilities. He also stated that strengthening cooperation among members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum is of great significance for ensuring energy security and coping with geopolitical shocks. Zarif revealed that Iran has proposed a seven-day plan aimed at creating conditions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the resumption of normal maritime shipping, provided that military threats are eliminated and other necessary conditions are met. He stressed that whether the global energy market can recover stability depends on whether all parties can engage in dialogue, respect each other, and strengthen cooperation.
