Arthur Hayes: Flop Network can achieve standardization of computing power pricing and derivatives trading
2026-10-27 08:40:15
According to CoinMeta, Arthur Hayes published an article outlining the vision of Flop Network, stating that Flop is a form of "food" for AI agents and can be directly exchanged for computing power (flops). He believes that if Flop becomes the agent payment network for AI, the exchange rate between Flop and computing power will become the global benchmark for spot computing power. Flop Network generates blocks per second, and the exchange rate between Flop and computing power is calculated by recording the delay of reasoning tasks, the amount of floating-point operations, and transaction fees. The network supports reserving computing power for the next 30 days and standardizes it into tradable units of Flop computing power (FCU).
