According to CoinMeta, Asian semiconductor stocks are rising, and Anthropic PBC has submitted its initial public offering (IPO) documents, fueling investors' enthusiasm for the artificial intelligence industry. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix both rose by more than 5% in morning trading, driving South Korea's Kospi index up by 4.4% at one point. Japan's Nikkei 225 index also rose by 2.2%, with chip-related stocks such as Advantest and Sumco Corp both increasing by over 6%. A series of news developments from the previous night helped to alleviate recent market concerns regarding AI's financing, with Anthropic taking a step closer to going public attracting particular attention. In addition, SpaceX signed a $40 billion lease financing agreement for GPU equipment with Apollo, while Meta Platforms is seeking to raise up to $95 billion by selling common and preferred stocks.
