According to CoinMeta, Mike Wilson, Morgan Stanley's chief equity strategist, stated that despite the cooling of enthusiasm for AI trading and the recent pressure on U.S. stocks, he still maintains his prediction that the S&P 500 index will close at 8,000 points by the end of the year. Morgan Stanley has set a tactical downside target for the S&P 500 index between 7,100 and 7,200 points, which is slightly below the 200-day moving average. He pointed out that several upcoming events, including the mid-term elections, should mark the end of the current stock market adjustment. Regarding the semiconductor sector, Wilson is relatively cautious, believing that the support level for this sector may be much lower than the current level, but he expects the selling pressure on semiconductor stocks to ease next month.
