JPMorgan Chase's Asian asset size exceeds expectations, reaching $400 billion

According to CoinMeta, JPMorgan Asset Management has expanded its managed assets in the Asia-Pacific region by nearly one-third over the past 12 months, reaching approximately $400 billion, with its wealth management business being the main driving force behind this growth. The company is on track to exceed the goals set last year by its Asia-Pacific CEO, Dan Watkins, which was to double the region's asset size from $300 billion by 2030. Watkins stated that although institutional clients remain a key part of the business, most of the growth has been driven by high-net-worth investors. Over the past year, the asset size from private bank clients has increased by 50%. A significant portion of these funds has flowed into alternative investments, particularly hedge funds, as well as infrastructure and transportation-related products.
