According to CoinMeta, the Japanese exchange group ( JPX ) announced on the 27th that it will list the Nikkei Semiconductor Stock Index Futures on its Osaka Exchange. Based on the results of public opinion consultations, trading of this product is scheduled to begin as early as April 26, 2027. This comes particularly at a time when semiconductor stocks in Japan are receiving significant market attention. The Nikkei Semiconductor Stock Index is composed of stocks from major semiconductor companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Currently, the total asset management scale of financial products such as exchange-traded funds ( ETF ) that track this index is approximately 200 billion yen.
