According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is committed to increasing the frequency of the highly anticipated trader position reports to twice a week by the end of this year. Currently, these reports are released on Fridays and provide detailed information on the buying and selling activities in the commodities market, distinguishing between hedge funds and other asset management institutions from commercial traders. CFTC Chair Michael Selliger stated last week at an agricultural commodities futures conference in Kansas that the plan to increase the reporting frequency stems from demands from the agricultural community.
