According to CoinMeta, Infisical completed a $40 million Series B financing round, with a valuation of $600 million. This YC incubated company focuses on open-source key management, helping over 1,300 enterprises and 300,000 developer users to secure their API, key passwords, and control access rights. With the increasing use of Claude Code and Codex among other AI Agent operations and cloud services, key security has become a new concern. In April, Agent Vault was made open-source, which allowed Agent to only obtain fake keys; requests to access external services were routed through a HTTPS proxy before the real keys were injected to prevent leaks. In July, the company launched a commercial version of Agent Proxy, which was integrated into commercial Agent Vault. Enterprises can authorize Agent by task, set expiration dates, revoke permissions at any time, and record access activities.
