According to CoinMeta, the Stellar Development Foundation announced on October 28th that the Project Thruput technology preview has been launched on Futurenet. It supports the parallel execution of transactions in the same state and does not charge a fee for each individual transaction. During testing, the execution capacity of a single verification node increased from 1.18 million payments per second on a single machine to 7.02 million payments per second with 8 machines, but this data does not represent the end-to-end network throughput. When demand exceeds capacity, scheduling capacity will be allocated based on the unlocked native token balance of each account.
