Israeli parliamentary elections complete, Netanyahu's camp temporarily leads
2026-10-28 21:46:52
According to CoinMeta, on the 28th local time, according to Israeli sources, as of now, all ballot boxes from this round of Israeli parliamentary elections have been counted. The Likud party led by the current Prime Minister Netanyahu still holds the highest vote share among the counted valid ballots, and remains the largest party in parliament. However, there is a stalemate in the distribution of all parliamentary seats between Netanyahu's right-wing camp and the opposition camp led by Eisenkot, with no single camp currently possessing more than half the seats required to form a government. It is understood that since hundreds of thousands of special ballots, including those from Israeli soldiers and diplomats, are still to be counted, the final number of seats for each party remains uncertain. As of now, these reports have not been confirmed by Israel's Central Election Commission.
