World Bank: Precious metal prices expected to rise by 40% in 2026
2026-10-28 22:21:21
According to CoinMeta, the World Bank has recently issued consecutive statements predicting that due to the increasing demand for safe-haven assets, precious metal prices are expected to rise by 40% in 2026, followed by a decline in 2027. Additionally, the World Bank points out that any escalation of conflicts in the Middle East and continued damage to Russia's oil infrastructure could further drive up energy prices. Affected by the soaring price of urea, fertilizer prices are expected to increase by 14% in 2026 before falling back to 2025 levels in 2027. In adverse scenarios, energy and food commodity prices could skyrocket, contributing to higher global inflation.
