According to CoinMeta, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) has informed some Asian refiners that the crude oil supply from some of its offshore oil fields may begin to be transported through a newly built pipeline starting from the beginning of 2027, in order to help the company avoid the current transportation obstacles posed by the Strait of Hormuz. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company plans to start supplying some Upper Zakum crude oil to long-term contract customers through the Fujairah port from the beginning of 2027. This crude oil is produced from oil fields within the Persian Gulf. The company previously stated in May that it was accelerating the construction progress, and the pipeline is expected to be completed next year. Under the annually renewed long-term supply agreements, the crude oil will be delivered in Fujairah, allowing buyers to transport it without having to send oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz.
