CITIC Securities: Still expects the Fed to raise interest rates by another 25 basis points in December

CoinMeta data: According to a research report by CITIC Securities, the Federal Reserve remained inactive as expected in October, with its statement showing a more optimistic view on the pace of economic expansion and a more cautious stance on policy. Walsh's remarks after the meeting were milder than those in September, mentioning that the credit environment had tightened and inflation expectations were developing in the right direction. He also hinted that the scheduling of FOMC meetings would be adjusted in the coming two years. CITIC Securities still expects the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates by another 25 basis points in December, and the terminal interest rate of this round of interest rate hikes may not be too far off. The new variables in the Middle East situation are not yet sufficient to provide a clear and long-term path for both the US and Iran to withdraw; high oil prices may continue until the situation becomes clearer, and further improvement in dollar liquidity will require new catalysts.
