CZ: The demand for tokenization in the US stock market mainly comes from outside the United States

According to CoinMeta, Binance founder CZ stated in an interview with The Rollup founder Andy that the main demand for tokenization in the US stock market comes from outside of the United States, especially from those who find it difficult to open a US securities account. He cited examples of countries with hundreds of millions of people, where the daily trading volume of their entire stock market is only 50 million US dollars, which is equivalent to the trading volume of a single trader in New York. He believes that companies in these markets can tokenize their stocks to reach global investors and enable 24/7 trading. In addition, tokenization can also be extended to assets such as water, rare earths, and certain precious metals that lack trading venues, providing them with trading channels and liquidity.
