According to CoinMeta, Bithumb issued a statement stating that on October 27th, unauthorized external personnel accessed their internal mobile office system, resulting in the leakage of information for 6,444 users. Of these, the information of 5,600 users was encrypted and could not be read. The actual readable information involved 844 individuals, along with the information of 715 employees and partners. The leaked information included names, phone numbers, email addresses, resident registration numbers, driver's license numbers, bank account numbers, and copies of ID cards. They have also strengthened real-time monitoring of abnormal transactions and withdrawals, and are currently analyzing the specific scope of the information leakage.
