2026-10-29 20:14:59
According to CoinMeta, the cryptocurrency exchange service platform Wagyu has confirmed a data breach that involves data from the past three months. Security researchers Officer's Notes and AML Crypto analyzed the leaked data and found that it included 10,139 user records and 38,628 transaction records. Some of the transactions were marked as related to hacker attacks or theft, and this information may help track the flow of funds on the blockchain that was previously difficult to trace. The researchers stated that a hacker group Whitearmor demanded a ransom of $5 million, but after it was refused, they made the data public. Wagyu stated that user funds and exchange services have not been affected, and that additional security measures have been taken.
