DMG Securities: It is unlikely that Iran will compromise before the U.S. mid-term elections, and crude oil supply remains tight

According to CoinMeta, TD Securities believes that it is unlikely that Iran will reach a compromise before the mid-term elections in the United States, and the supply of crude oil remains tight. As risks in the Middle East continue to drive up oil prices, the Indian rupee faces downward pressure against the US dollar. At the opening of trading on Friday, the US dollar rose slightly to around 95.25 against the Indian rupee, approaching the two-week high of 95.38 set on the previous trading day. TD Securities pointed out that rising oil prices are generally unfavorable for the currency trends of economies that rely heavily on oil imports, such as India. The bank expects that news of reaching an agreement will emerge frequently before the elections, putting pressure on crude oil prices, but it does not think it is likely that Iran will agree to a deal on the "tense eve of the elections." At the same time, the bank emphasizes that fundamentals remain tight, and attacks on oil tankers and pressure from Houthi militants "seem to have successfully reduced oil transportation in the Middle East, at least for now." TD Securities believes that as long as ongoing attacks maintain a risk premium in the market, energy prices should be able to find strong support in their current higher range.
