According to CoinMeta, Ethereum’s EIP-7702 did not cause the $6.3 billion hacker attack on Binance, but it may have helped the attackers bypass security checks, allowing them to withdraw funds in one go, stated Ido Ben, the CEO of Cointelegraph.
