According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Solana officially announced a partnership with Hong Kong-licensed stablecoin issuer Anchorpoint Financial, planning to introduce the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin HKDAP into the Solana network, supporting native minting and redemption, and exploring applications such as retail payments, cross-border settlements, and tokenized assets. The Solana Foundation will also join Anchorpoint's tokenized currency adoption program, working together with institutions such as PwC Hong Kong to promote related applications. Anchorpoint is a joint venture of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong), Hong Kong Telecom, and Animoca Brands, and obtained a stablecoin issuer license from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in April of this year.
