According to CoinMeta, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that running the AI model locally on a personal computer is an inefficient way of using memory, as personal computers only utilize memory for about 5% of the time. On the contrary, he believes that cloud data centers can maintain a more efficient continuous use of memory.
