According to CoinMeta, Factory has announced the acquisition of data infrastructure startup Typedef, with plans to integrate its data context technology into Coding Agent droid. Typedef can analyze data engineering codes such as SQL, and sort out the dependencies between database fields, data processing procedures, and downstream reports. For example, modifying a database association field may cause the program to run normally, but it could lead to duplicate income calculations in financial statements. Typedef can help AI identify such chain effects in advance and trace the source of problems when data errors occur. Typedef previously found in its own data engineering tests that after adding this context, the task success rate of Agent increased from 46.4% to 81.5%.
