According to CoinMeta, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin published an article titled "Digital Minimalism," sharing practices for reducing the use of social media, cellular networks, and web applications. He pointed out that using web applications means that the code is reloaded from the server with each visit, exposing users to the constant risk of server breaches. Websites can also identify users through device information and behavioral data and transmit this data to third parties. He revealed that he recently updated the hash on ENS using a command-line tool written by AI and completed multiple privacy protocol payments with the help of kohaku-cli. He believes that local AI allows users to operate simple and composable tools through natural language, reducing their dependence on complex applications and giving them more control back.
